Obituary of Kelli Jean Daniels

Kelli Jean Daniels (Smith), age 61, passed away on January 12, 2022 in Buffalo, NY. She was born in Alva, OK and was a graduate of Panhandle State University.

Kelli, better known to many as "White Chocolate", was an avid motorcycle rider, she loved riding her bike and riding with her club TOPGUNS M/C.

She was known by those closest to her as a giver. She never hesitated to go without if it meant she could provide for someone else. If you needed something and she could help, you always knew you could count on her to come through. And if you liked to eat, there wasn't anyone better to know. That woman could cook. If she ever cooked for you, it was sure to be some of the best food you'd ever eaten. One of her favorite things in the world was to cook up a big spread, or bake cakes, and deliver them to her club and watch everyone smile when they ate. She put a lot of love into what she did in the kitchen, and it showed.

Kelli was a loving and devoted mother, and the best Nana her granddaughter could have ever asked for. She was also an incredible aunt, both to the family she had by blood, but also to the family she chose. She was called "Aunt Kelli" by many who weren't actually nieces and nephews, but she was family to them all the same. And that goes for many that called her "Sister" as well. She found true family with her club brothers and sisters.

She loved R&B and Soul and music with a good beat. She would ride 150 miles each way to get a Sonic cheeseburger. She was always on the lookout for authentic Mexican food or a good chicken fried steak (with white gravy!). She was a kind soul, accepting of everyone regardless of their background or their current circumstances. She made people feel important and feel heard, and if she loved you she always had your back.

In her spirit of helping others, Kelli chose to be an organ and tissue donor, so even in death she continues to help give the gift of life.

Kelli is survived by her son Cory Anderson, daughter-in-law Crystal and granddaughter Ally of Prairie Village, KS; her parents Gerald "Lefty" and Jean Smith of Houston, TX; her sister Tammi Ward, husband Kenny of Gatesville, NC, their children Jennifer Hobbs and husband Chad and two children, Ryan Ward and wife Carol and two children, and Zachary Ward and Hannah Ward; her sister Terri Jones, husband Donis of Alvin, TX, their children Adam McCormick and wife Kari and two children of Guam, Tyson McCormick of Houston, TX; her brother Todd Smith, wife Daphne of Sugarland, TX and children Tucker, Claire Jean and Tatum.

A memorial service for Kelli will take place on Saturday, January 29 at Lombardo Funeral Home at 102 Linwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209. The gathering will begin at 2:00pm ET with services starting at 3pm ET.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local food pantry in your community. Kelli loved to feed people, so please carry on that legacy and help feed others in her honor.

Enjoy a ride in the sky for all of us, Kelli. You will be missed.
