Obituary of Lucille T. "Lucy" Rossi

Lucille (Lucy) Rossi born March 9, 1927 in Niagara Falls, NY, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, May 9 at her home in Buffalo NY. Lucy was the most loving, caring, God loving, prayerful person you could ever know. She loved her family and friends unconditionally, and if you were blessed enough to have her in your life, you know you were loved.

Lucy was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Aldo J Rossi who she wed on November 28, 1946, Parent’s Herman and Clara Mari, sisters Angela Petrozella and Norma Demarco. Brother in law Peter DeMarco, nephew Paul Demarco, loving companion Kenny Reisch and many other family members and friends.

Lucy is survived to cherish her memory by her children: Louis Rossi of West Palm Beach, Florida, Richard Rossi (Ellen) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Donna Crail (Steve) of Morehead Kentucky, Darlene Carpentiere of Jupiter Florida and David Rossi (Lili) of Burbank, California, Mother in Law of Sandy Rossi, Grand Island NY and “adopted sons” Chris Rosala and Frank Deichner of Florida.

Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and two step grandchildren, Lauren Eisleben (Joel) , Maria Proebsting (Kyle), Courtney and Nicole Carpentiere, Francesca and Dashiell Rossi, Stevie Crail, Dana Schaber Adkins (Eddie) and Dawn Wagner (Dan).

6 Great grandchildren: Zoey, Alice and Emma Eisleben, Leah, Quinn and Clark Proebsting. Nieces: Carole White (Mike) and Nancy DeMarco. Great nieces and nephews: Bryan, Sarah (Dan) , Matthew, Alex and Julianne along with her church family, friends and loving friend/ caregiver Lynn Williams. We will all miss her dearly but she’ll forever be in our hearts.

Visitation and a funeral mass will be conducted 9am Monday, May 13, 2019 at Our Lady of Hope (Annunciation) Parish, 18 Greenwood Place, (corner of Lafayette and Grant) Buffalo NY. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME.
