Wednesday, March 20, 2019The loss of a loved one in death is very difficult to handle. One thing that has always comforted me during such a time is the hope for the dead mentioned at Acts 24:15. Also the fact that one day "death will be no more" at Revelation 21:3,4. This is a promise that Jehovah God will fulfill in the near future. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Monday, March 11, 2019My condolences to the Ferrentino family. Matty was one of our work -out buddies. We would tease him by calling him Marv Levy ;-). Being part of the "Greatest Generation" he'll be in good company.....God Bless.

Sunday, March 10, 2019Dear Aunt Joan, Dan, Judy and Rob, It's tough enough to lose a Brother and Uncle but it's especially tough when you can't be there to pay your respects in a way that you would want to. As my Dad and I have cried together and reflected on Uncle Matty's passing the word bitter-sweet came to mind. Bitter in the sense that he has suddenly left us and will be sadly missed and sweet in the sense that he lived such a long and vibrant life. (Must have been the spa and hot peppers!) I (Margie) will always remember Uncle Matty, and all of our parents, for giving us special childhood memories; Sherkston Shores (remember the heroic rescue when our boat was sinking?), Crystal Beach and Family Picnics including the pasta sauce competition and the requirement to catch many many crayfish to name a few! Please know that while we are thousands of miles apart that our thoughts and prayers are as close to you as if we were by your side. May God's Blessings be with you during this difficult time and in the days and years ahead. Sending love and prayers, Uncle Tommy and Cousin Margie

Saturday, March 9, 2019My sincere condolences to you and your family. I'll always remember "whose hot peppers are hotter" arguments, Chestnut Ridge Ferrentino picnics, all you can eat pasta at Maryann's. Fond memories of days gone by. I'm honored and blessed to have had his friendship. Again my sincere sympathy.

Saturday, March 9, 2019To the family of Matthew P. Ferrentino, I offer my heartfelt sympathies. Enduring the loss of a loved one in death is a burden far too heavy to bear alone. As you face such trying circumstances, Psalm 55:22 encourages you to "throw your burden on Jehovah(God), and he will sustain you". May the hopeful words He has promised at John 5:28, 29 help sustain you in your time of grief.-jw.org

Saturday, March 9, 2019No obituary could possibly include everything Matty was to all who knew him. My only regret was meeting him so late in life and thus, spending so little time with him. But knowing him has been a joy and being able to call him my friend has been a great privilege. Rest in loving hands of our merciful God, Matt.
