I have a nice story to share. We had the pleasure of meeting up (again) with Sammy one special day. Having so much in common, and the fact that our parents were good friends (both who once lived on the west side), Sammy and I decided to have a party to reunite our parents. What a great day that was, UNFORGETTABLE! The reunion was several years ago, but my family never forgot that day. We still have the video of that special day to treasure. In fact, I watch it with my parents often still. Now, here we are again with time against us, bringing with it not only the loss of both your wonderful parents but now Dear Sammy. We are extremely sad to learn Sammy was sick, and of his untimely passing. My parents who are now in their mid-90's asked me to express their deepest sorrow as well. Rick too who has many memories of time shared with Sammy back in the day, and at He & She's. Sammy was certainly one of a kind. Please know, we all share in your pain and sorrow. Knowing how close you all are/were will be your comfort now.
In closing, Sammy was great!! We will remember him always. Someone so special will never be forgotten, and our times together will remain apart of us forever. Take comfort that Sammy is with your parents now. May they all live on in your heart, and with all the wonderful memories you keep.
