Wednesday, February 14, 2018To the family of Al N. Mudd Jr., I offer my heartfelt sympathies. Enduring the loss of a loved one in death is the most difficult trial we must face in life. We can look to God as a source of true comfort when faced with such a trial. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 refers to him as "the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials". May you find comfort in the hopeful words He has promised at John 5:28, 29.-jw.org

Wednesday, February 14, 2018Sally, Michael, Jennifer - my deepest sympathy to you and your family. From the first time I met Al he inspired me to be a better family man and educator by the passion he had for his family and youth athletics. He was such an incredible man that had a positive impact on the lives of many, mine included. He will be deeply missed by many but his legacy will remain forever.

Wednesday, February 14, 2018Sally and family, It was with deep sadness we learned of Al's passing last week. He was a great guy, teacher and coach. He was a wonderful husband and father. We both worked in Buffalo for decades and crossed paths quite often, teasing each other about teams we coached. When I came to SH in the late 70's he kidded me about leaving the city. But Al was a stirring supporter of SH in every way and supported multiple sports including our VB programs. May he rest in peace and we hope that the decades of memories comfort you all in this time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you. Glen and Connie McClary Satellite Beach Fl and Amherst, NY

Tuesday, February 13, 2018Coach Mudd was one of my favorite coaches to play for in any sport. Always positive. He was a very calming influence on the sidelines and was one of those coaches you would run through a wall for in order to not disappoint him. He helped make my 3 years of varsity football fun.
