Friday, February 16, 2018With deep sympathy to the Paterno family, I hope you will be strengthened and comforted by God's promise at Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever". This promise gives us something to look forward to, Acts 24:15 speaks of a resurrection. During these difficult times my family and I find comfort through the scriptures and related topics on jw.org. Please accept my sincerest condolences for the loss of your dear Michelle.

Tuesday, January 23, 2018The loss of a loved one to death is very difficult to handle. One thing that has always comforted me during such a time is the hope for the dead mentioned at Acts 24:15. Also the fact that one day "death will be no more" at Revelation 21:3,4. This is a promise that Jehovah God will fulfill in the near future. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Friday, January 12, 2018To the family of Michelle M. E. Paterno, I offer my deepest apologies. Losing a loved one in death is truly a test of our endurance and resilience. 2 Peter 2:9 gives the assurance that God "knows how to rescue...out of trial". May you find refuge and relief in the hopeful words He has promised at 1 Corinthians 15:26 during this most trying time.
