I hope you will be strengthened and comforted by God's promise at Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever". This promise gives us something to look forward to, Acts 20:15 speaks of a resurrection. During these difficult times my family and I find comfort through the scriptures and related topics on jw.org. Please accept my sincerest condolences for the loss of your dear Alma.
I will miss Alma, who was a faith filled, beautiful person. She loved to participate in the services, receive Communion, and pray the Rosary. I was planning on visiting her at Autumnview later this week, but she changed her residence to heaven before I could see her one last time. I know that she will be praying for each of you and all those whom she has known and loved.
I am sorry that, due to being away on vacation, I was unable to meet Alma's beautiful family and participate in the funeral services.
Alma will always hold a special place in my heart.
You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I pray for comfort and joy in remembering and celebrating the life of your beloved mother. May the Lord be your strength and ever present help. Ps 46:1
With deepest sympathy, Kathy McGee
To Alma's family: I worked Alma for many years. She was a delight to be around and brought all of us here @ Phillips many laughs - in addition to the delicious scones she never forgot to bring us even after she retired! I'm sure none of us here will ever forget her. Our thoughts are with you.
Marge, your mom was and always be a fun loving person. Always good for a for a for a laugh or a funny comment.
And always ready for her glass of wine!
She will be missed but never forgotten.
